STAR Camp is a professionally planned and well-supervised program with outstanding and responsible staff held at Sharon High School. Campers are grouped by grade to provide age appropriate activities and entertainment. We visit Lake Massapoag three times a week for swimming and activities. Weekly field trips are planned with camper's ages in mind to ensure campers enjoy their time off site. STAR camp also offers weekly themes and team based challenges to keep campers excited and engaged! Swimming lessons are offered by certified Water Safety Instructors at Lake Massapoag on lake days. We also offer Early Drop-off and Late Pick-up to provide child care coverage from 8:00 to 9:00 am and 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Swimming Lessons, Early Drop-off and Late Pick-up are available for additional cost and are not drop-in programs. Families interested in these services will need to add their children to the waiting list for those services upon registration for camp. Staff members are trained in basic first aid, recognizing allergen exposure, administration of epipens, heat stroke, and concussions.
This year, we are proud to announce the return of the STAR Assistants! STAR Assistants are campers who were in 7th or 8th grade during the 2023/2024 school year. STAR Assistants attend camp at a reduced rate and will assist our counselors and specialists throughout the day while also being able to engage in their own age appropriate activities.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING EARLY DROP-OFF, LATE PICK-UP, AND SWIM LESSONS: Families interested in Extended Day Services and Swimming Lessons for STAR Camp will need to add their child(ren) to our waiting list. Families will receive an email authorization to complete registration for these services upon confirmation that the child has already been registered for either STAR Camp or STAR Assistants. This will avoid confusion as we continue to make preparations for camp. Email notifications may inadvertantly be sorted as spam, so we ask that you please monitor all inboxes.
